Frequently asked questions
Is the on-site survey really free?
Yes. The on-site survey and emergency lighting design are free of charge and non-binding. You can then decide at your leisure whether to accept our quote.
Which standards do you design to?
We design to EN 1838 (illuminance, uniformity, signs), EN 50172 (systems, duration, testing) and ISO 7010 for safety signs, plus applicable national rules such as DIN VDE V 0108-100-1 in Germany. The building permit and fire safety concept also apply.
What do you need from me?
Ideally existing floor plans, escape plans, the fire safety concept and – if available – the previous logbook. Anything missing, we record on site.
Do you also design in other countries?
Yes, we design and supply across Europe, taking national requirements into account.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We get back to you within one working day to arrange an appointment. Defects from an inspection are prioritised.
